Detention Facilities | Kankakee County Sheriff
In 2007, Phase 2 of JCDC was officially opened with the capability of holding 144 additional detainees. Both phases were designed to be direct supervision of detainees. Our old jail facility, the Kankakee County Detention Center, was designed for 106 inmates, but in 1994 was double-bunked which increased the capacity to 220.
